Rewards

Our reward structure is simple - the more high-quality data you upload, the more you earn. We want our datasets to remain timely and relevant, so we will apply a multiplier to your rewards over time as you make regular contributions.

Your base reward will be determined by our Proof of Contribution mechanism that generates a score based on your data’s authenticity, ownership, quality, and uniqueness. For each consecutive 21-day Vana epoch that you contribute, we will increase your reward multiplier by 10% up to a maximum of 500%.

Staking

In the spirit of democratizing the web, staking empowers you to directly support the Vana ecosystem and the projects you believe in while also growing your own holdings. When you stake your Vana on a DLP, you influence its ranking and create an opportunity for both you and the DLP to earn Vana at the end of each 21-day rewards cycle. Keep your Vana staked on a DLP for multiple rewards cycles to maximize your rewards.
